My therapeutic approach aims to help individuals find effective ways to respond to difficult thoughts and feelings to live a rich and meaningful life. I have experience in the areas of stress, body image issues, chronic pain, low mood and chronic diseases for adults; as well as exam-stress, anxiety and self-esteem for children. I believe psychotherapy is not only a place to overcome difficulties, but also an opportunity for individuals to discover their aims and get to know themselves better. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy in my work. My aim is to empower my clients to live a rich, meaningful life based on their own values and move towards the person they want to be. Often the decision to seek professional help is a difficult one and finding the right person can be a daunting process. For such reasons, I offer 15 minutes free initial consultation.
